Festival Filministes

Since 2015, the Filministes Festival organizes screenings of cinematographic works followed by discussions on various contemporary feminist issues. We seek to increase visibility for films and filmmakers that are not usually represented in film festivals and to create safe spaces for discussions and reflection on feminisms. We screen recent documentaries, short movies and fictional films. An art exhibition and occasional dancing events are also part of our event programs. The first edition of Filministes Festival was held on March 8 – 11th, 2018 and gathered more than 1000 feminists and allies. We are extremely excited about this year’s edition!
